  • Updated inp_par.F to allow the computation of model error covariance normalization factors (for weak constraint 4D-Var) when the CORRELATION option is activated.
  • Renamed job_is4dvar.sh to job_i4dvar.sh, job_w4dpsas.sh to job_psas.sh, job_w4dvar.sh to job_r4dvar.sh, and submit_is4dvar.sh to submit_i4dvar.sh.
  • Added several job scripts for running adjoint-based algorithms: job_array_modes.sh, job_i4dvar_sen.sh, job_normalization.sh, job_psas_sen.sh, and job_r4dvar_sen.sh.
  • Updated several .cdl files in the Data/ROMS/CDL directory.
#436 arango arango Done Corrected a bug in the PSAS 4D-Var algorithms
Description

The increments for the surface forcing (ADJUST_WSTRESS or ADJUST_STFLUX) and open boundary conditions forcing (ADJUST_BOUNDARY) were read from the incorrect file in initial.F. They need to be read from INIname at record IniRec.

Many thanks to Andy Moore for fixing this bug.

#437 arango arango Done Updated documentation in 4D-Var test cases
Description

The Readme files were updated for all the 4D-Var test cases in the test/WC13 directories. Also several Matlab scripts were updated in the test/WC13/plotting directory.

The test repository is not open to everybody! Everything is working. In order to run any of these 4D-Var test cases, you need to update the ROMS code to the latest version.
