This 2 ½ day, NSF-ONR sponsored workshop will summarize the status and accomplishments of existing national assimilation efforts, address gaps in our knowledge or weaknesses in our approaches, and discuss strategies to sustain and improve ocean data assimilation in support of science and operations.
