Ph.D. studentship in ocean modelling at LSU

#1 Unread post by jliang »

A Ph.D. studentship (stipend+tuition) working with Dr. Jun-Hong Liang (https://sites01.lsu.edu/faculty/liang/) at Louisiana State University is available.

The student will refine/develop data-based machine learning parameterizations for ocean processes (see our preliminary study: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 0322000890) and test them in ROMS. They may also develop their own project that is within the field of physical/biophysical oceanography.

Experience working with a programming language (FORTRAN or C) is preferred.

If interested, please send an email with a brief introduction of yourself and your CV to Dr. Liang (jliang@lsu.edu).
