Located in the northern Gulf of Mexico and the Mississippi River Delta, the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences at LSU is a world-class program specialized in coastal and deltaic dynamics (http://www.oceanography.lsu.edu). The department has 30 faculty members, 5 of which are AAAS fellows, working on physical, geological, biological, and chemical oceanography. In addition, LSU’s HPC system maintains a premier computing environment. Two of LSU HPC’s clusters were ranked as the world top 100 super-computers in 2015.

Interested candidates please send your CVs to Dr. Z. George Xue (email: zxue@lsu.edu). The position is expected to start in Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.
