wetdry mask applied to sediment output

#1 Unread post by nacholibre »

I am not sure if there is any advantage to it, but in the recent version of the code sediment parameters (i.e sandmass, idBmas) are written to the his files after the wetdry mask is applied whereas in older versions it was out put as is. This change is somewhat problematic, because it makes it difficult to track the sediment mass eroded/deposited in a cell that gets wet and dry. For example if there is deposition on land during a storm surge, this information is lost under normal conditions since the land will be masked.

It seems like this issue was solved in revision 741 (ticket#648). Masks for the sediment output were switched from rmask_io back to rmask. Thanks.
