Dear All,
we are planning a diagnostic run with ROMS, and found the TS_FIXED option, which seems to do exactly what we are looking for.
However, it is not clear what we should set as boundary conditions (Radiation? nudging?) for the momentum and the tracers. Also, how do the surface forcings come into play?
Has anyone recently used this option and is willing to share their main cppdefs.h definitions, and/or could suggest a publication that could give us some additional information?
Thanks very much in advance for your time and help.
Regards,
Ines
Diagnostic run with TS_FIXED
Re: Diagnostic run with TS_FIXED
Dear All,
although our setup with TS_FIXED (diagnostic run) worked very well, I would like to find additional publications/documentation that show the use of a similar setup (i.e., diagnostic run, in which in situ data are used to intialize ROMS). I am having a hard time finding publications and I would greatly appreciate your help and suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
Best wishes,
Ines
