I have following questions....
(1) I have climatological runs for 10 years. Now I want to force the model from ERA40 dataset. For example, the starting date is 01-01-1995 and model run time is for next 5 years.
So, How can use my previous climatological run ? e.g., I want to start model with ERA40 forcings from the climatological run.
(a) In such case, How can I use restart file of climatological forcing to run the model for next 5 years using ERA40 ?
(b) Is it good/feasible idea OR I have to start model from the beginning with fresh simulation with ERA40 forcings ?
(c) Do I have to change clim, ini and bry file while using the ERA40 forcings ? These files have 360 days calender.
(d) Does anybody have the sample/demo matlab code to produce ROMS forcings from ERA40 datasets, to have an idea about the time and unit conversion. A help/hint to make ROMS forcings is much appreciated.
