Sea Ice code needed

Hi everyone:

My name is Wang Zhifeng, a Ph.D. major in Physical Oceanography in Ocean University of China.
I would like to do some research on sea ice of Bohai Sea.Is it possible to obtain the code, and,
possibly, a test case to get me started?

Besides, I have learned from some old topics that sea ice model could be get from svn server of
kate, but I could not find the site of that. Could anyone tell me how to get it?

You need to send email to Dave Robertson to get the ice branch via svn. If you are willing to try git, you can get it here.

As for a test problem, I'm afraid I don't have one. It has been used in several realistic problems. One path is to set up the ocean-only case, then add the ice component when temperatures get below freezing.
