2008 ROMS/TOMS European Workshop
Saint Martin d'Heres Campus, Grenoble, France, October 6-8, 2008

This is a reminder that registration is open until August 1, 2008 and abstracts for oral presentations and posters are due by August 29, 2008. To register or add your abstract, please log into the ROMS website and visit the workshop  registration form. If you are not already a ROMS user please fill out this  form to become a ROMS user.

NOTE: If you are planning to fly to Lyon through Paris be sure that your Paris-Lyon connection is a plane and not a train. This mistake has been made many times before. The train will not take you to Lyon Saint Exupéry (LYS) airport where the convenient Satobus service departs for Grenoble. There is a local train from Lyon Part-dieu to Grenoble though.

A lot of information has been added to the  Workshop webpages since the initial announcement in May. We have added  hotel and travel information and touristic  points of interest. For those arriving in Grenoble on or before Saturday, October 4, 2008, the  MEOM team will organize a hike (with a pic-nic) for Sunday, October 5, 2008 in the mountains. Jean Marc Molines and Bernard Barnier will organize the hike. If you would like to join us please check the "Hike" box on the  registration page. Those already registered for the workshop should also use the above link if they wish to sign up for the hike.

We are also organizing a visit to the Coriolis Rotating Table. Those details will hopefully be in the next announcement.

Looking forward to see you in Grenoble,

Organizing Committee,

Bernard Barnier, LEGI-CNRS
Laurent Debreu, LJK, INRIA
John Wilkin, IMCS, Rutgers University
Hernan G. Arango, IMCS, Rutgers University
