Adding Sediment to the Latte Example

#1 Unread post by son-goku »

Hi everyone

I am try set up the Latte case example, following instructions on the ROMS official web (https://www.myroms.org/wiki/CSTMS_UNSW2008) but, i can not download files from this link (http://coast-enviro.er.usgs.gov/models/Latte/). These files are necessary for executng this test case. Someone will have those files? or exist a detailed manual of a test case for sediment transport?

note

ROMS Upwelling is run correct on mi pc
it is my first time configuring a sediment-trasnport case.
i want configure a real case-> discharge sediment of a river on the ocean-coast and watch it move in the ocean... but firts i want configure a test-case to learn how to do it.

I will appreciate your help.

This is a very old example ... 2008! It needs updating to be useful with the present version of the code. One day I'll get to it.

there are many other test cases to choose from. if you want to grab our version of the COAWST system, we distribute a rip current test, inlet test, etc. Most of them have sediment so there are several examples to choose from.

Thanks so much for your clarification. I will try to run some test case of COAWST.

Thanks so much again.
