A few weeks ago I updated to ROMS revision 674, and since then I have been trying to implement a new model, since I continue to get odd ERRORS like:
WRT_HIS - error while writing variable: ocean_time
into history NetCDF file for time record: 1
ROMS/TOMS - Output error ............ exit_flag: 3
ERROR: Abnormal termination: NetCDF OUTPUT.
REASON: NetCDF: Not a valid ID
and blow ups with NAN after a few time steps. I have extensively review my input files. Since nothing works I went back and try to run a model that works on my old ROMS(3.something) and it doesn't work!!
It is showing problems to read the grid file:

Can some one give me some insight on what I am doing wrong with the new ROMS version?
P.S. the Upwelling test case happily runs and writes, with no problems...
